My Biography

• I am currently attending FDLTCC to obtain my RN license.  I also have a degree in Business Administration.  My desire is to work in pediatrics, labor/delivery or gerontology.  My husband and I would like to an assisted living or group home on our property.
• I work as an Office Manager/Field Services Coordinator for a local home health care agency.  My job is to schedule our caregivers to help the elderly or disabled stay in their homes as long as possible.  My job entails interviewing/hiring/orienting of new employees, answering inquiries, performing start of care visits for clients, managing the data entry and filing, and scheduling our clients with our home health aides and homemakers.  I have been working in this position since I was 18 so almost 10 years now!
• I grew up in Chicago, IL and moved to Duluth, MN in 2001 to attend college.  We own a 112 year old log cabin in the middle of the woods on a private lake.  You can take the girl out of the city but not the city out of the girl...my life is like "Green Acres."
• My husband and I have a four year daughter who is the absolute joy of our lives.  We have two dogs-a Chihuahua named Elvis and a Labrador named Kiki after our favorite vacation spot Waikiki beach.  We also have two cats named Merlin and Mya.
